Education: BS Child Development, California State University Fresno, Enrolled in CalState TEACH, Teacher Credentialing Program
Started at SRM: 2016
My teaching career began at St. Rose-McCarthy in 2016, as a teaching assistant. I had the opportunity to teach our first ever Transitional Kindergarten class. After a year in TK, I moved to a fourth and fifth grade combo. This year I am looking forward to teaching a stand-alone fourth grade class. This school has always held a special place in my heart. I attended SRM from 1999–2008. While attending Fresno State, I had an overwhelming feeling that St. Rose-McCarthy was where I wanted to begin my career. It must have been the prompting of the Holy Spirit! I look forward to coming to work everyday; I am so fortunate to be able to work with such an amazing staff and to share the faith with our students. This past school year we were forced to switch to distance learning with very little notice. This was a very difficult transition for all involved. This summer the staff at SRM has spent countless hours educating ourselves on how to be the best for our students, while continuing to offer a strong faith-based education. I look forward to this new school adventure with our students and pray that we can have a safe return to our classrooms soon.
