"I began my career at SRM as a long term substitute teacher in the spring of 1996. Then I was offered the Fourth Grade class full time. Next I taught 4th/5th combined class. Now, I’m teaching 8th grade Social Studies, Art, being the Librarian, and other tasks. I love it! American History is a personal favorite of mine. My husband and I travel a lot and often visit historic locations around America. I studied art in college and have done crafts off and on for years — crewel needle work, scrapbooking, and making Christmas cards. I love to read, so being Librarian is a dream. Because I love books so much, for a while I volunteered at the Hanford Library just tending the stacks in the children’s room. I love choosing and reading books for our preschool through second grade classes."
